Inauguration of Any Time Payment (ATP) Machine at M.V.P.Colony
Eastern Power Distribution Company of A.P.Limited (APEPDCL) in its endeavor to enhance its customer service base has launched Any Time Payment (ATP) Machine for the convenience of its M.V.P.Colony consumers in the City, who can now pay their electricity bills round the clock- 365 days, either by cash or cheque and get a receipt of the amount paid on the service number of the consumer. ATP machine was inaugurated by Sri.N.Gulzar, I.A.S., Chairman and Managing Director, APEPDCL, at M.V.P. Electricity Substation, M.V.P.Colony at today (24 December 2008).
ATP facility being introduced by APEPDCL is first of its kind in the entire state with the technical support of Phoenix IT Solutions Ltd which will greatly benefit the consumers in payment of electricity bills. All the electricity consumers of Visakhapatnam city can avail this facility. Speaking on the occasion Sri N.Gulzar said it will help the consumers in paying the bills according to their convenience.
The ATP Machine has a touch screen, through which the consumers can enter their Service Number and pay the amount and get a receipt/statement of the amount paid. The machine has the provision to take notes and coins. A separate slot will accept cheques in the same manner.
